Praying for readers and cantors for SFX Kanowit Church for the Year 2026
The Canto & Reader Blessing Ceremony for 2026 was held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (SFC) Kanowit with great solemnity and a spiritual atmosphere. This blessing ceremony was led by the parish priest and witnessed by the congregation and members of the church committee. This ceremony aimed to bless and send out the selected cantos and readers so that they could serve in the liturgy with full responsibility, discipline and commitment. Through this blessing, the liturgical ministers were reminded to deliver the Word of God clearly and lead the praise with full appreciation, in order to strengthen the faith of the congregation and glorify God throughout the year 2026.
