Pre-marriage course phase 3, year 2024 at Church St.Francis Xavier,Kanowit
Kanowit, 22 November 2024, (Friday) Pre-marriage courses are mandatory for all Catholics to prepare themselves for the responsibilities of marriage. A total of 15 couples attended the 2-day marriage course. The course aims to help couples understand the responsibilities of marriage and family. Among the things taught in the pre-marriage course organized by the Catholic church are cultural and communication aspects, relationships with in-laws, conflict resolution skills and the process of having children. For example, couples need to respect each other, communicate effectively, and understand that domestic violence is a crime.
