Australian Chinese Tourism Visit To Saint Francis Xavier RC Gallery, Kanowit.

On 19 July 2026 (Sunday), the Saint Francis Xavier (SFX) Roman Catholic Gallery, Kanowit received a visit from a group of Australian Chinese visitors on a visit that aimed to get to know more about the history of the development of the Catholic Church in Kanowit and appreciate the historical, cultural and religious heritage preserved in the gallery.
Throughout the visit, the group was given an explanation of the history of the establishment of the Saint Francis Xavier Church, the development of the Catholic mission in the Kanowit area as well as a collection of artifacts, historical photographs and documentary materials exhibited in the gallery. The visitors showed great interest in the information presented and took the opportunity to ask questions and exchange views on the history and culture of the local community.
To ensure the smoothness of the visit, the group was accompanied by the staff of the SFX Kanowit Church Gallery led by Mr. Peter Jaya with Madam Priscila, Mr. Manjing and Madam. Trinka. They provided friendly service and clear explanations to the visitors throughout the visit session.
