Feast Day Rc Kanowit Year 2023 & Farewell for Sr. Anna Juwin
Rc Kanowit Church has organized a Feast Day at the Kanowit District Office Hall. Also present were Bishop Joseph Hii and several father members from the Church around Sibu district. The Catholic community in Sibu district was also present to enliven the atmosphere. In addition, we celebrated Sister Anna Juwin’s farewell party and will move and serve in Johor Bahru in February 2024. A day or period of time set aside to commemorate, celebrate or ritually re-enact, or anticipate an agricultural, religious, or socio-cultural event or season that gives meaning and cohesion to an individual and to a religious, political or socioeconomic community. Since such days or periods are usually derived from religious festivals or ritual commemorations that usually include community holy feasts, they are called festivals or festivals.
