Celebration of Feast Day SFX Kanowit, Year 2022
Greetings to all residents of Sibu Sarawak and local residents. Last night Saint Francis Xavier, Kanowit held a Feast Day or the anniversary of this church for the 139th year of its establishment since 1883. The St. Francis Xavier Feast Day Welcome Mass was held at the Council of Saint Francis Xavier School under the leadership of Fr.George Omutho. The presence of villagers and guests from around areas of Kapit, Song, Kanowit, Julau, Mukah and Dalat.
Besides that, we also celebrate the birthday of Sr. Justina who served for 50 years in the Roman Catholic Church.
After Mass, there was a banquet together at the School Council. From Legoin of Mary, they donated cakes and drinks for the people who attended that night. Thank you to all those who were involved in welcoming the St. Francis Xavier Feast Day, Kanowit, especially the SFX Kanowit Church.
