REGENERATE was chosen as the theme of the Ecosystem & Community 2.0 campaign, the inauguration of a regional Catholic campaign to give new life to ecosystems and communities, the Catholic Church of Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei are among the countries simultaneously implementing this campaign which started from 01.09.2025 – 31.08.2026, the inauguration of this campaign was launched at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Kanowit, by Bishop Joseph Hii. The objective of this campaign is to protect our Earth, Protect our children (PROTEC)2.0
Before the inauguration of the campaign, Bishop Joseph Hii led the Holy Mass of the Sacrament of Pengentap which was attended by 265 people and was also attended by 150 Prayer Leaders
Chapels under the Parish of St. Francis Xavier Church, Kanowit have also donated saplings to be planted around their respective Chapels to support this campaign.
