On 3 December 2022 at The Gathering Restaurant Sibu, the entire Sibu Roman Catholic Church welcomes the anniversary of the unification of all churches in Sibu. It is estimated that around 100 people will come from various regions such as Mukah, Kapit, Song, Sibu, Julau, Dalat to enliven the atmosphere. The ceremony was officiated again in the presence of ex-Bishop Dominic Su and Bishop Joseph Hii. In addition, Fr. George Omutho, Fr. Oniz Kikokholo, Fr. Ivan, Fr. Sudhakar Mekar were also present. Various offerings were made such as dances and singing choirs from various regions. Bishop Joseph Hii called on Christians to always be strong and not forget their own religion.
